- When asked about your introduction, do not say just a few words or a prepared long essay. Try to introduce yourself in brief. Start with your name, followed by you educational background and area of expertise. Tell a sentence or two related to your experience in the field related to the open position with the company. The interviewer would not be interested in your personal/family background.
- When asked a question, do not start off with "I have used this/read about this bla bla bla... Just tell what you know about it. No one is interested about where you read about it or who taught it to you.
- If you do not understand the question, or not even heard of it, admit that you are unaware of it. Do not start blabbering about what ever you know. This would irritate the interviewer.
- Do not talk about monetary benefits unless asked. This would generally be taken care by the HR
- Finally, if you are asked "Do you have any questions for the interviewers?", ask something relevant to the project or the comapany and not something personal to the interviewer.
All the best!
