Now that the Cricket World Cup 2011 has taken full swing, the hopes of India qualifying for the finals has taken its all time high. With India set to face its rivals; the Pakistanis on Wednesday, the whole nation seems to be in a state of unrest. The match is said to be a high profiled one with the Prime Minister and President of Pakistan also coming to Mohali to watch the match. Security seems to be pumped up all through Chandigarh.
    India's main concern is Boom Boom Afridi who is the leading wicket taker in the tournament. The recent slump that the middle order is facing also adds more pain. With the opening pair going off with a rocking start and maintaining a good run rate the Indians are a formidable side.
   As more pressure build up,the question arises "Who will win the match"

• Goto start and type "msconfig" (without quotes), move to move tab at the top of the window and change the timeout from 30 to 3 seconds and move to startup tab next and uncheck all those softwares that you do not use frequently and hit apply...  This tip increases your startup and shutdown time...
• Goto start again and type "regedit" and navigate ypur way to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> System -> Currentcontrolset -> Control... Double Click on waittokillservicetimeout and change it from 12000 to 3000... This reduces the shut down time... 
• Goto start -> My Computer.. Right click on My Computer and click properties... Goto Advanced system settings and in the advanced tab click "performance" and check "adjust for best performance"which may bring it to windows classic or just check "Custom" and check all the features you want..
• Defragment your hard drive regularly (once a month) by typing "System Defragmenter" in the search bar at start..

Never before in history has there been such a speculation about the end of the world... The earth as we all know is said to self destruct on 21st December 2012... Well the Mayan calender one of the most precise calenders ever ends on this particular day... So did Nostradamus the Prophet predict about this end centuries ago... Coming to the point... Is it really worth worrying about this day??? Frankly speaking... NO... It is to be noted that millions of predictions have been by these prophets and only as many as a few hundreds have ever happened... Remember World War III was predicted to to take place during the end of 20th century???
 I don't see any war happening... Except for war on terrorism... Please note that the world should have already ended according to predictions made earlier ( There are numerous predictions that the world would end during the 14th, 18th and 20th centuries respectively)... Well we are still alive... Which means the earth is  running its grace time... So be happy to be walking alive...

Simbu opts out from 'Ko'

K V Anand has been made the hero of the day when he boldly decided to replace Simbu with Jeeva as Simbu opted out from the movie 'Ko' just a day before its shooting schedule. The director who gave blockbuster hits like Ayan in 2009 claims that it was the misunderstandings between him and the actor that made him opt out, "However we are thorough professionals and we do not share any hard feelings" said the director who replaced Simbu with Jeeva. Problems had started between the director and the actor over a few scenes in the film and also regarding Simbu's heroine in the film. Simbu had asked for Tamannah whereas the producer and director declined her due to her high salary. The director claims that the script here is the hero and he will not compromise on it. They have parted their ways and wished each other good luck.

Funniest moment at College

It all started when a friend of mine had a present from the US. And guess what it was... A Brand New Levis Underpants...lol... He decided to bring it to college and review it along with the rest of us. As we were analyzing it in class we were shocked to find our professor standing behind us looking at us. He gently picked the undie with his pen and handed it over to our Head of the Department who happens to be a lady. All of us were called to her room with the undie lying over her table spread over like a Christmas turkey..lol.. After a few hours of lecture and advice we were finally asked to leave. However we got his undie back and it still remains in her room along with her other stuff. Wat an embarrassing moment it was for us. The best part was that he had worn it a few times and had never washed it ever.. LOL!!!

Top 5 points to follow in an Interview

Apart from formal neat dressing and subject preparation for the interview, there are a few simple, but important things to follow while you are in the room with the interviewer :

1. When asked about your introduction, do not say just a few words or a prepared long essay. Try to introduce yourself in brief. Start with your name, followed by you educational background and area of expertise. Tell a sentence or two related to your experience in the field related to the open position with the company. The interviewer would not be interested in your personal/family background.
2. When asked a question, do not start off with "I have used this/read about this bla bla bla... Just tell what you know about it. No one is interested about where you read about it or who taught it to you.
3. If you do not understand the question, or not even heard of it, admit that you are unaware of it. Do not start blabbering about what ever you know. This would irritate the interviewer.
4. Do not talk about monetary benefits unless asked. This would generally be taken care by the HR
5. Finally, if you are asked "Do you have any questions for the interviewers?", ask something relevant to the project or the comapany and not something personal to the interviewer.
